Small-plate dining has become increasingly popular in the U.S. over the past two decades. It can take different forms — from appetizers ordered à la carte and shared, to a more structured experience with multiple small courses served in sequence. A typical small-plate menu includes 5 to 7 items.


Grazing tables and boards offer a more abundant, visual approach — a collection of appetizers, cheeses, breads, cured meats, snacks, desserts, fruits, and vegetables, arranged with themed elements. They can be as simple or as elaborate as you’d like.

Both small-plate menus and grazing experiences are a smart, flexible choice for larger gatherings. I offer personal chef services for parties of 20 to 60 guests. Drinks are not included.
